About the artist
Grace is inspired by the colours and textures of local landscapes, like the Peak District.

The mossy, heathery moors against moody grey skies. Grasses and wildflowers against rock & stone makes her heart feel rooted. With a great love of interiors & homeware Grace’s work keeps bringing her back to the same earthy simple colours & textures of her surroundings.

Grace studied ceramics & silversmithing as a Degree then went on further, to complete a MA in Ceramic Design for Production in Stoke on Trent in the late 90's. She went on to work as a freelance shape designer in the Potteries briefly before moving into work as design coordinator for a major UK high street supplier, based in London. Six years ago, Grace discovered The Arthouse in Sheffield that enabled her to have to creative space to start exploring her love of clay again.
