About this piece
Made from lacquered copper. These napkin rings come in two distinct patterns and add that touch of effortless sophistication to your dining table. The CIRCA collection is built on a pattern of interlocking circles that has been laser-cut into flat sheets of copper.
Each piece is then shaped and constructed by hand before being polished and lacquered/silver plated. The collection combines the warm glow of polished copper and the glitter of silver plate with sumptuous textiles, specially chosen to complement and contrast the subtle tones and textures of the metal.

About the artist
Sheffield silversmith and metalworker. Charlotte Tollyfield’s fascination with geometric shapes and symmetry has been evident throughout her creative career. Drawn by silver’s ability to be manipulated to create soft curves and acute angles; her focus lies with the composition and
structure of shape and form, whilst preserving a strong sense of function and purpose. Charlotte’s CIRCA Collection combines the glow of polished copper and glitter of silver plate with sumptuous textiles, and draws upon her interest in the symmetry and repetition of pattern and motifs.
Something that is also evident in some of her larger commission pieces. Employing a wide range of techniques in the creation of her work, Charlotte prefers to adapt to the design instead of designing around a specific technique.
